Jess’ community engagement and volunteering activities add to her skills and strengths, including; Rotary Club Board member, Community event coordinator, twice nominated Territory Young Achiever, Community Coach, and volunteer for a range of activities including delivery of disability recreation services. Her passion is in providing inclusive opportunities for all people to grow and connect, as well as safeguarding our most vulnerable people, and she has actively advocated for charity’s by advocating and leading physical challenges in fundraising activities such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, abseiling down the Central Park building 5 years in a row and cycling 500km to Uluru in one day. Jess has a Bachelor of Exercise Sciences, Diplomas in Governance, Business, Human and Finance Management, and Sport and Recreation Management. Jess is also a qualified Company Director and has led many companies, both for profit and for purpose, through Board positions.

Her day-to-day at ForPurposeCo. looks at the ideas-generation, discovery and creation of food and tech related social businesses and innovations that have the potential to help OzHarvest create further impact. All profits generated by ForPurposeCo. goes to OzHarvest. ForPurposeCo.’s first social enterprise baby is Juice For Good, Australia’s first OJ vending machine with purpose – with many more in the pipeline.
Service and Human-Centred Design Leadership, NSW Department of Customer Service
Anet is also a known people leader, coach and motivator when it comes to enabling and empowering people to innovate new products and services. She is known to bring a group of difficult stakeholders around the table and work with them so they leave the room in alignment and with a common vision.
Originally a trained architect, product designer and media engineer, Anet hails from Europe and the US where she worked with international innovation platforms to create cross-industry pollinated future-visionary experiences, featured by BBC and Discovery Channel.
In Australia, Anet has successfully worked with startups as well as large organisations such as Qantas Airways, AMP, Telstra and the Australian Federal Government. As part of AMP’s former service design team, she has won two prestigious Good Design Awards in recent years for the team’s service design achievements.
Currently Anet is delivering a brand new service within the Department of Customer Service, NSW government.
Agile Coach, Food Agility
After beginning his career working with not-for-profits, John began delivering emerging tech and innovation programs for the NSW Government, CSIRO, University of Technology Sydney and Decoded. John now works at Food Agility, an agrifood Co-operative Research Centre, increasing the impact of highly-specialised researchers through deliberate innovation.
